Dear Friends, Family and Community of Supporters,
We hope this finds you all well and safe and we are excited to share this week’s offerings.
First, a few farm updates. It’s difficult to know where to begin this time of year. In spring, one day tends to bleed into the next. Deon, our farm manager and the team have been busy planting nearly 2000 trees along ditches, stream banks and pond edges. We’ve planted wild mulberries, swamp cypress and a variety of oaks that prefer wet habitats. The leaves of the mulberry tree stay green even during prolonged periods of drought, and will provide a green protein supplement for the cattle during dry summers. Oaks will begin dropping acorns in future decades providing a rich energy source for the deer and wild turkeys. We are investing in biodiversity now to ensure a resilient future.
Our next delivery dates will be Monday & Tuesday May 4th and 5th. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please reply to this email with your order and we will drop it on your doorstep. We will send an email invoice where you can pay online the day of delivery. Easy!

We have 2 quarter beef shares available for $990 each. A quarter beef fits in a 10 cubic foot freezer and comes with 110 lbs of beef. This should be enough beef to last a family of four 6-8 months. Email us if with any questions.
